  1. What are iron on labels made of?
    Our iron on labels are a woven poly/cotton material, they come pre die cut to size with rounded corners.

  2. Why do I need a pressing cloth?
    You need to place our pressing cloth on top of the label before applying your hot iron, this ensures even distribution of heat over the entire label and protects your iron from any glue or ink that may come from the label. Without a pressing cloth, labels may shrink up from the direct heat applied by the iron, and may cause them to not adhere properly and come off your clothing. Your iron must be remain on the hottest setting, no steam, or water in the iron.

  3. How long does it take to produce my order?
    All orders are printed and mailed out the day they are received.

  4. How long does shipping take?
    Orders with free shipping are mailed out via United States Postal Service(USPS), leaving Illinois and arriving to most states in approx. 4-7 business days in a standard envelope.

  5. Can I get my order faster than first class mail, which is 4-7 business days?
    Yes!. We offer two options for shipping within the USA only.

    1) United States Postal Service - Priority Mail for an additional $10.00. Delivery is usually 2-3 business days, but delivery date is not guaranteed by the Post Office.

    2) United States Postal Service - Express Mail for an additional $22.00. Delivery is 1-2 business days, depending on your location. Most orders arrive in 1 day. Delivery time is guaranteed by the US Post Office when package is signed for at delivery.

    You must select one of these options at checkout and add it to your order.

  6. Can you ship my order using my own FedEx or UPS account?
    Sorry, no we do not offer that option. We only use United States Postal Service.

  7. RESTRICTIONS FOR ORDERS SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE USA.
    THE ONLY ITEMS WE WILL SHIP OUTSIDE THE USA ARE IRON ON LABELS WITH PRESSING CLOTH AND STICKY LABELS.

  8. Do you ship outside the United States?
    Yes, we offer free shipping by first class mail worldwide. Delivery time varies by country. Approx. 10-20 business days. Canada approx. 7-10 days. No refunds or reprints will be given for orders that are not received.

  9. Can I use sticky labels on clothing?
    NO, sticky labels are not for use on clothing. Only apply sticky labels to smooth surfaces like plastic, glass, metal, and paper. Ideal for identifying other personal belongings.

  10. Is faster shipping available to other countries?
    Please e mail your shipping address to info@irononmdlabels.com, we can check and see what shipping methods are available and what your additional cost would be. We will e mail back the information. You must call us at 630-608-2109 to pay for special shipping. Delivery outside the USA to foreign countries is not guaranteed. No refunds will be given for orders that are not received. DO NOT ADD PRIORITY OR EXPRESS MAIL SHIPPING TO YOUR ONLINE ORDER. YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED.

  11. Can I sew on your iron on labels?
    All of our clothing labels are made for ironing on and have a special coating on the back. They are certainly soft and thin enough that you could sew them on if you choose.

  12. Can you print logos or special font styles on your labels?
    No, we can only print lettering on labels in the font styles shown on our web site.

  13. How long will your labels last?
    Labels will stay legible and remain on your clothing for thousands of washings and dryings when applied correctly. Please see our guarantee. Parents tell us their children's labels are still on their clothing years later.

  14. Are your labels made for industrial type laundry services?
    Yes, our iron on labels are made to withstand these very hot conditions.

  15. What is your privacy policy?
    WE DO NOT SELL OR SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH ANYONE!! The information we request, such as your name, mailing and billing addresses and e-mail address will only be used to process and ship your order.

  16. ONLINE SECURITY
    Orders placed with Irononmdlabels.com are made using a secure server, on a secure checkout page. The secure server SSL encrypts your personal data as well as your credit card information. For your protection we DO NOT receive your entire credit card number after your order is submitted. As it travels to our server, all of your information will be encrypted to insure that it cannot be intercepted by someone from the outside.   17. How can I check on the status of my order?
    There really is no need to. Orders are printed and go out in the mail the day the order is received. With free shipping by first class mail, most orders are received by our customers in the USA within 4 - 7 business days. Please provide us with your order date, order number and the name of the person we are mailing your order to.
